I will not envy myself now

Filed under: BAHRAIN,FAMILY,FRIENDS,HOT RIDES,MY DAUGHTER,PERSONAL,PLEASURES,SPORT — by noracassandra @ 11:32 am

So it’s been 18 days since I posted last… Have to say a lot has happened… Ali Dadi took 3rd place in his first race in Riyadh and 2nd place in his second race there! There is a BLOG made to follow-up with the WGA Chevrolet Supercars Championship for any news.

I moved to a new apartment. Which is 3 bedrooms + big kitchen (which I am so excited about) + a good size living room + a hall (so walls to be creative on) + entry (small hall which is good for shoe cupboard and hanger for jackets which reminds me of Finland) + 2 toilets (one in my bedroom and one outside between the other 2 rooms and the living room)… Let’s not forget to mention it is 50BD cheaper than the one we were living in which was one bedroom + living room & kitchen together+ one toilet which was inside my room… Iida slept in the living room and I used to hate working in that kitchen! And above all the old apartment was so far from all my friends who all live so close to my new apartment! And another point which is SO IMPORTANT to me is BIC is like 15 min away instead of 30 min!!! I love my new place! 😀

Now to something more serious… My boss still didn’t provide me with Visa… He always has the answer on top of his tongue saying he is working on it… So even though I was happy to be the Event Coordinator manager I might have to say goodbye to this job as soon as I find somewhere else! 😦

Good news… My boyfriend and I are still together after 6 months have passed. I have fallen in love and I think he loves me too. Iida and him get a long fine, which makes things so much easier! And I am neither bored of him nor tired of him yet… And the sex is still so amazing!!! I guess I found someone I was hoping to meet long time ago!

I will not envy myself now… So I will say thank you Lord, thank you to my angels and good spirits… thanking the right energies surrounding us… and thanking mostly Ahmed Sami who pushed us together!!

I guess these are few of my updates

Filed under: BAHRAIN,F1,FRIENDS,HOT RIDES,KUWAIT,NEWS,PERSONAL,PLEASURES,SPORT,WORK,WRITING — by noracassandra @ 8:32 pm

So… I know it’s been such a long time since I wrote something. A lot has happened. Not sure where to start from, but I’ll try to fill up some gaps in what I have not posted.

  1. Ali Dadi has been chosen to race for Chevrolet Supercars Championship in the (SC06) category. And he will have his first debut in Riyadh at the Reem International Circuit on Wednesday and Thursday (19th & 20th of January).

  2. I got paid my first ever salary in Bahrain… it was little but it made me pay off the rent…

  3. I found a new apartment… 3 bedrooms, kitchen and living room… Same price and much closer to all my friends so I am moving by 1st of February.

  4. I had a lovely Xmas and a great new year… No big parties but just small ones with people I love a lot.

  5. I love BIC. Oh well this is not new but I had to say it… I just love that place and been spending time in helping there… Saw the Pirelli F1 testing last week there… Attended few events there… Even enjoying barbeques… Also seems to be spending a lot of time in race-control, and safety car in those events! 🙂 YEEEHHHH I love it!

So when a STUPID SPOILED KUWAITI girls tried today to not let us in because some Kuwaiti girls having some kind of racing thing got me totally pissed off!!! Ok true I am Kuwaiti and proud of it, but who the hell do some of those Kuwaiti people think they are going to places and think they own them!!!??? Who the hell do they think they are when they sent some guy to ask us to close our garage door where we were working so we won’t get to see those spoiled asses plying race day??!!! We did get in… And we were not interested in seeing some girls with full make up trying to make a show of being racing heroes… We had much more important thing that needed to be done there in our garages… And we had fun! So I’m not pissed any more at them and I forgive them… Actually took me less than an hour not get over my anger but had to mention it!! 😉

I guess these are few of my updates… Love you all! :-*

a real simple fact… i love BIC!

Filed under: BAHRAIN,BIKES,FRIENDS,HOT RIDES,LOVE,PERSONAL,PLEASURES,SPORT — by noracassandra @ 5:38 am

Not sure what happened to me! Personally I was not expecting to feel this way!

I sat there for 6+hours. Not even one toilet break! All I was seeing are the bikes passing me by! Helmet on my head and feeling hot sometimes, tired other times, stressed in sometimes, thinking or trying not to think sometimes. Lunch came late when I was almost starving already and the sun kept blinding my eyes for a long time! No accidents except for 3 minor ones! So the car I was sitting in had to stay in place! I read some of my book that I have borrowed from my friend Mr. Nabhan. An Arabic book to practice reading the language once again! For writing purposes!

Back to the safety-car I was sitting in! It was amazing! Even though it was boring as Jacks described. He said usually there must be action and especially it was 6 hour bike endurance! Meaning 6 hours nonstop the motorbikes would be racing! So almost impossible to our mind that it would have passed with no major accidents! But that is exactly what happened! And so, we just sat in that car on standby!

Strange as it might sound… I loved it! I loved being on the track! I loved sitting in the safety-car on standby! And I loved being in the event and especially as a SAFETY-CAR communicator! I would do it all over again if I get the chance!

What made my heart beat most was having the laps on the circuit when we had the safety-car training! One dream has come true with that! Now next dream me driving on the track!

I guess I will be participating in upcoming events as the speed weekend which will take place in BIC on the first weekend of December!

This time I will have my boyfriend with me so it will be even more amazing! 😀

 A real simple fact… I love BIC!

ALI DADI!!! you make me proud to be your friend!!! ;-)

Filed under: ALI DADI,BAHRAIN,F1,FRIENDS,HOT RIDES,NEWS,PERSONAL,SPORT — by noracassandra @ 2:16 pm

ALI DADI amazing talented young man! yes i’m saying it again and again!!! his news don’t stop shocking me! i am so glad to see a talented person like him fighting his way up in a jungle of jealousy and wasta (was6a)… if you do not know what wasta means, it’s simply knowing the right people in the right places… ALI DADI has no wasta nor a has famous last name to get him high!!! he has to do it all by himself!

so this time he called me. asked me for a meal to let me know of what is new and update me with his news! i was expecting news from jiddah. but instead he got my mouth open in shock with the news he poured into my ears!

jiddah is canceled!!!

what?? why?? did you lose the sponsors??? did your job refuse the leave??? i almost got hysterical wondering and almost shouting my questions.

no. i got a better offer i couldn’t refuse! he answered me calmly with a lovely smile on his face… ALI DADI has been invited to USA to get a full training as NASCAR’s driver. NASCARS!!!!!!!! wow!!! now that is real news! shocked and amazed listening to details!

i was so happy to hear ALI DADI and two bahraini marshals have been chosen from USA themselves to be taken for training in the states. after two weeks of intensive work and training they will be rewarded with acknowledged certifications that will put them on top of most marshals and in ALI DADI’s case drivers in bahrain!

i will be updating you with more news soon when i get more details. but seems this will make ALI DADI not participate in Toyota Tony Karting Championship that will be held in jiddah. nor will he be a F1 marshal in abu dabi. he will be doing much more amazing work in states driving nascars… wish i could join him and watch him do it with my own eyes!

ALI DADI!!! you make me proud to be your friend!!!

“It would be good to see Sarhan and Ali Dadi, the 2009 champion, run against each other in a field dominated by Bahraini drivers.” in Gulf Daily News

the Seniors division winner of Bahrain’s Rotax National Karting Championship of 2009 the Bahraini Ali Dadi… this post is about him!

starting by what i know he has achieved with his limited time, limited financial situation, the limited help he gets and limited support he has!!! He was the winner of Bahrain’s first-ever Rotax National Karting Championship in the Seniors division that was held in 2009. he has also been racing in Rotax Grand Finals 2009 Sharm el Sheikh where he finished 21st over his group max of 125 drivers from all over the world, as it’s also worth mentioning he is the first Bahraini ever participating in such an international event and race.

He also participated in 2009 Toyota Tony Karting Championship in Jeddah where he faced bad luck and got his kart broken but his team got his car back to racing condition for the sixth and last round for him to win the race finishing over 10 seconds a head of Abdullah Al Muttaire who finished second place while the Saudi karting champion Hussain Al Shareef resigned that race due to technical problems in his kart saying it was one stressful race when shaking hands with the winner, congratulated him and invited him for dinner! Ali also had a great comments and the encouragement of Abdullah Bakhashab, Saudi Arabia’s most successful rally driver who also was so shocked from a talent like Ali Dadi not having a sponsor nor financial support from his country!

Ali Dadi was also known by the name of Ali Turbo when he used to play basketball which he started at the age of 9 and since climbed on the leader to professional and played in the Manama club. injuring his knee and having an operation in 2002 made it difficult for him to continue but made him also start his driving when he went and participated in his first 24h race… he was the shining star of his team and when the race was over The Betelco Karting team who finished in second place that race asked him to join them. he stayed with them for 5 years then moved to Al Manaseer Karting team. Ali went racing around 20 races of the 24h races through out all with the 2 teams… showing his talent over the years. after he changed to his own Dadi Racing team.

he reached where he is with his limited time as he is a full time employee in Mena Telecom Bahrain. used to be working long shifts 6 days a week till recently he was moved to the main office where he gets to work 5 days instead of 6 which I’m hoping will give him more time for his hobby that he his amazingly talented in!

this young talent that has showed his country (Bahrain) how much potential he carries… and showed his teams over the years that he was truly worth the support and to be given the main driver’s position in any team he would race for … but Ali Dadi never have been offered any help except from his own family and friends which them selves have very limited abilities to help! so where are the sponsors??? where is the country’s support??? where is the Bahraini Karting from such talent??? or because he is from a simple family and not well known family name he doesn’t deserve it??? i know few drivers that don’t have 1/2 of Dadi’s talent getting all the support just because they have well known names… some of them are friends of mine so i will not mention any names! but i always found it so unfair for people to get what other’s deserve just because their father knows so and so…

Ali Dadi is in need of sponsor and most importantly he is in need of a new kart… so hoping he will find the help and support to participate in the upcoming championship.

his close friends are his mechanics and team… they support him till the end… always been next to him trying to put his broken kart back together with duct tape just to help him to finish the race… and most of the times he ended up with that kart on the podium… i would like to thank those friends for their support… i do believe if it wasn’t for them Ali would never had the chance as no one else seems to care!!! so may you all be blessed and hope to always see you around him! Ali himself told me by words that he won’t be who hi is if it wasn’t for those friends and his family members!

my personal interview with Ali Dadi and spending few days with him around beautiful Bahrain, gave me even better knowledge about who he is.

a young gentleman. so full of life and positive look for future! he always talks good about people even the ones that disappointed him when he asked for sponsors, help or support… he comes from a good Bahraini family. his father, mother and 6 brothers seems to have taught each other respect for life and how to appreciate the good things as they all have been through a lot to become who they are! Ali is such a friendly person who can make friends with any one where ever he goes. everyone that gets to know him personally always asks about him directly or through people. the only thing i didn’t like in him that he complains about 1/2 the food… “i don’t eat this or that” he says when he and his friends were trying to think where to go for dinner.

in the end of my post… i will wish Ali Dadi all the best in life! i hope he will get a sponsor, the financial support he deserves and a new kart for this season… i hope Bahrain will get to help him before it’s too late and feel sad for loosing such a talent and wonderful person that can represent them around the world! and all my best wishes for Ali’s personal life and wish him all the best that life could bring!

good news about Ali Dadi!!!! our 2009 karting champion! he has been invited to jiddah for the Toyota Tony Karting Championship which will be held in november but dates hasn’t been confirmed yet! sadly as it seems his work refusing to give him an unpaid leave… but worse comes to worst i will guess he will give his notice to follow his dreams which makes me proud! and the worst news is that he couldn’t get to race in bahrain championship because of … Read More

sadly as it seems his work refusing to give him an unpaid leave… but worse comes to worst i will guess he will give his notice to follow his dreams which makes me proud!

and the worst news is that he couldn’t get to race in bahrain championship because of not getting a sponsor! how sad it is knowing that a talented driver like him can get sponsors for races abroad, but can’t get any in his own country!!! where are the bahraini people from such talents???

well glad he is still smiling and excited about the upcoming race in jiddah! 🙂

good luck to our driver!!!
