I guess these are few of my updates

Filed under: BAHRAIN,F1,FRIENDS,HOT RIDES,KUWAIT,NEWS,PERSONAL,PLEASURES,SPORT,WORK,WRITING — by noracassandra @ 8:32 pm

So… I know it’s been such a long time since I wrote something. A lot has happened. Not sure where to start from, but I’ll try to fill up some gaps in what I have not posted.

  1. Ali Dadi has been chosen to race for Chevrolet Supercars Championship in the (SC06) category. And he will have his first debut in Riyadh at the Reem International Circuit on Wednesday and Thursday (19th & 20th of January).

  2. I got paid my first ever salary in Bahrain… it was little but it made me pay off the rent…

  3. I found a new apartment… 3 bedrooms, kitchen and living room… Same price and much closer to all my friends so I am moving by 1st of February.

  4. I had a lovely Xmas and a great new year… No big parties but just small ones with people I love a lot.

  5. I love BIC. Oh well this is not new but I had to say it… I just love that place and been spending time in helping there… Saw the Pirelli F1 testing last week there… Attended few events there… Even enjoying barbeques… Also seems to be spending a lot of time in race-control, and safety car in those events! 🙂 YEEEHHHH I love it!

So when a STUPID SPOILED KUWAITI girls tried today to not let us in because some Kuwaiti girls having some kind of racing thing got me totally pissed off!!! Ok true I am Kuwaiti and proud of it, but who the hell do some of those Kuwaiti people think they are going to places and think they own them!!!??? Who the hell do they think they are when they sent some guy to ask us to close our garage door where we were working so we won’t get to see those spoiled asses plying race day??!!! We did get in… And we were not interested in seeing some girls with full make up trying to make a show of being racing heroes… We had much more important thing that needed to be done there in our garages… And we had fun! So I’m not pissed any more at them and I forgive them… Actually took me less than an hour not get over my anger but had to mention it!! 😉

I guess these are few of my updates… Love you all! :-*

Kallemne Advertising 80001811 will not work!!!

I guess every one is wondering about Kallemne and what is happening there… Everyone is wondering when is it going to start working! Well the sad news is Kallemne will not work!!!

On Monday November the 29th, around 30 employees from the new advertising company Kallemne got out in front of the office building in demonstration and asking for their unpaid salaries!

The G.M who is also the C.E.O and the biggest shareholder of the company. Mr. XXX has not paid his staff for months. There are employees that haven’t been paid for over 4 months.

As a result. Many of his staff has been late paying their bills, rents, loans, and even their hairdressers and barbers. The police want some for questioning because of late in payments. Some are not even going back to their homes worried the authorities would catch them!

Some had to leave their university this year for not paying their bills for few months! Another’s finding hard time to keep their own families together as problems continued for quite sometime in their homes. And some of the employees had to fight for their kids as no money meant no food, any school and no hospitals!

But coming to the cases that hurt me most to know about. The foreigners who were working for that company were promised visa’s… every one of them got the approval from the LMRA but not of their visas was paid. So some ended up sleeping in the company car on the beach not to get into trouble with authorities. Others couldn’t put their kids to school this year for not having the CPR number, which is given to the person living n Bahrain as soon as he/she has working visa or long term permit! Some had to watch their kids get to over 40degrees of fever but not being able to take them to public hospital because they had no CPR number and couldn’t take their kid to private hospital because they had no money as no salary been paid for months!

And as it seems this whole act happened after a Saudi investor’s visit to the company on the same day. And as it seems the staff were ordered to keep a smile and play a role of happy employees that had nothing to complain about. So the investor would be convinced to invest his money in the company! And so the staff one by one seems to have taken turns to tell the Saudi investor what kind of a company Kallemne is. Some even told him that he was fooled and was brought to the company to get his money stolen by Mr. XXX.

Well good news is the Saudi investor did not put his money to the company. And also the police came to take Mr. XXX to spend his night in a cell before transferring him to investigations and will be taken to court! For the employees they were in the Ministry of Labor today to give their complains. Some will be taking a small part of their salary, but sadly not all!

The only sad part that had no good news is the foreigners who have no visa and might have to be kicked out of the country! I hope their issue would get solved soon. They seem lovely group when I had my meeting with them!

ALI DADI!!! you make me proud to be your friend!!! ;-)

Filed under: ALI DADI,BAHRAIN,F1,FRIENDS,HOT RIDES,NEWS,PERSONAL,SPORT — by noracassandra @ 2:16 pm

ALI DADI amazing talented young man! yes i’m saying it again and again!!! his news don’t stop shocking me! i am so glad to see a talented person like him fighting his way up in a jungle of jealousy and wasta (was6a)… if you do not know what wasta means, it’s simply knowing the right people in the right places… ALI DADI has no wasta nor a has famous last name to get him high!!! he has to do it all by himself!

so this time he called me. asked me for a meal to let me know of what is new and update me with his news! i was expecting news from jiddah. but instead he got my mouth open in shock with the news he poured into my ears!

jiddah is canceled!!!

what?? why?? did you lose the sponsors??? did your job refuse the leave??? i almost got hysterical wondering and almost shouting my questions.

no. i got a better offer i couldn’t refuse! he answered me calmly with a lovely smile on his face… ALI DADI has been invited to USA to get a full training as NASCAR’s driver. NASCARS!!!!!!!! wow!!! now that is real news! shocked and amazed listening to details!

i was so happy to hear ALI DADI and two bahraini marshals have been chosen from USA themselves to be taken for training in the states. after two weeks of intensive work and training they will be rewarded with acknowledged certifications that will put them on top of most marshals and in ALI DADI’s case drivers in bahrain!

i will be updating you with more news soon when i get more details. but seems this will make ALI DADI not participate in Toyota Tony Karting Championship that will be held in jiddah. nor will he be a F1 marshal in abu dabi. he will be doing much more amazing work in states driving nascars… wish i could join him and watch him do it with my own eyes!

ALI DADI!!! you make me proud to be your friend!!!

“It would be good to see Sarhan and Ali Dadi, the 2009 champion, run against each other in a field dominated by Bahraini drivers.” in Gulf Daily News

the Seniors division winner of Bahrain’s Rotax National Karting Championship of 2009 the Bahraini Ali Dadi… this post is about him!

starting by what i know he has achieved with his limited time, limited financial situation, the limited help he gets and limited support he has!!! He was the winner of Bahrain’s first-ever Rotax National Karting Championship in the Seniors division that was held in 2009. he has also been racing in Rotax Grand Finals 2009 Sharm el Sheikh where he finished 21st over his group max of 125 drivers from all over the world, as it’s also worth mentioning he is the first Bahraini ever participating in such an international event and race.

He also participated in 2009 Toyota Tony Karting Championship in Jeddah where he faced bad luck and got his kart broken but his team got his car back to racing condition for the sixth and last round for him to win the race finishing over 10 seconds a head of Abdullah Al Muttaire who finished second place while the Saudi karting champion Hussain Al Shareef resigned that race due to technical problems in his kart saying it was one stressful race when shaking hands with the winner, congratulated him and invited him for dinner! Ali also had a great comments and the encouragement of Abdullah Bakhashab, Saudi Arabia’s most successful rally driver who also was so shocked from a talent like Ali Dadi not having a sponsor nor financial support from his country!

Ali Dadi was also known by the name of Ali Turbo when he used to play basketball which he started at the age of 9 and since climbed on the leader to professional and played in the Manama club. injuring his knee and having an operation in 2002 made it difficult for him to continue but made him also start his driving when he went and participated in his first 24h race… he was the shining star of his team and when the race was over The Betelco Karting team who finished in second place that race asked him to join them. he stayed with them for 5 years then moved to Al Manaseer Karting team. Ali went racing around 20 races of the 24h races through out all with the 2 teams… showing his talent over the years. after he changed to his own Dadi Racing team.

he reached where he is with his limited time as he is a full time employee in Mena Telecom Bahrain. used to be working long shifts 6 days a week till recently he was moved to the main office where he gets to work 5 days instead of 6 which I’m hoping will give him more time for his hobby that he his amazingly talented in!

this young talent that has showed his country (Bahrain) how much potential he carries… and showed his teams over the years that he was truly worth the support and to be given the main driver’s position in any team he would race for … but Ali Dadi never have been offered any help except from his own family and friends which them selves have very limited abilities to help! so where are the sponsors??? where is the country’s support??? where is the Bahraini Karting from such talent??? or because he is from a simple family and not well known family name he doesn’t deserve it??? i know few drivers that don’t have 1/2 of Dadi’s talent getting all the support just because they have well known names… some of them are friends of mine so i will not mention any names! but i always found it so unfair for people to get what other’s deserve just because their father knows so and so…

Ali Dadi is in need of sponsor and most importantly he is in need of a new kart… so hoping he will find the help and support to participate in the upcoming championship.

his close friends are his mechanics and team… they support him till the end… always been next to him trying to put his broken kart back together with duct tape just to help him to finish the race… and most of the times he ended up with that kart on the podium… i would like to thank those friends for their support… i do believe if it wasn’t for them Ali would never had the chance as no one else seems to care!!! so may you all be blessed and hope to always see you around him! Ali himself told me by words that he won’t be who hi is if it wasn’t for those friends and his family members!

my personal interview with Ali Dadi and spending few days with him around beautiful Bahrain, gave me even better knowledge about who he is.

a young gentleman. so full of life and positive look for future! he always talks good about people even the ones that disappointed him when he asked for sponsors, help or support… he comes from a good Bahraini family. his father, mother and 6 brothers seems to have taught each other respect for life and how to appreciate the good things as they all have been through a lot to become who they are! Ali is such a friendly person who can make friends with any one where ever he goes. everyone that gets to know him personally always asks about him directly or through people. the only thing i didn’t like in him that he complains about 1/2 the food… “i don’t eat this or that” he says when he and his friends were trying to think where to go for dinner.

in the end of my post… i will wish Ali Dadi all the best in life! i hope he will get a sponsor, the financial support he deserves and a new kart for this season… i hope Bahrain will get to help him before it’s too late and feel sad for loosing such a talent and wonderful person that can represent them around the world! and all my best wishes for Ali’s personal life and wish him all the best that life could bring!

good news about Ali Dadi!!!! our 2009 karting champion! he has been invited to jiddah for the Toyota Tony Karting Championship which will be held in november but dates hasn’t been confirmed yet! sadly as it seems his work refusing to give him an unpaid leave… but worse comes to worst i will guess he will give his notice to follow his dreams which makes me proud! and the worst news is that he couldn’t get to race in bahrain championship because of … Read More

KALLEMNE at 80001811

it’s an amazing concept… so let’s see how they work!!??

A new advertising company called KALLEMNI coming out to public in Bahrain to give the definition of advertising new meaning! It’s coming with a great new concept… amazing new tools and the best of all unbelievable prices!

Now the word KALLEMNE means talk to me if translated to English. From the name you can guess it has to do with talking to someone… maybe a call center or a person…. But I’ll try to explain it to you in a simple and direct way!

KALLEMNE is the first comprehensive information and marketing call center in GCC! Callers to KALLEMNE can ask for information on almost anything in Bahrain and get answer sent to their mobile via SMS or MMS or even Email…. And all that is for free… so say goodbye to info call center of 181 that charges you by seconds, and that if they answer as personally had to call them often few times before they even answered my call… and say hello to KALLEMNE that will be for sure serving you as soon as you ring them… If you call the info call center of 181, you can’t be served unless you know the company or business’ name… but with KALLEMNE you don’t need to know the business or the company’s name you are looking for… you can simply call and tell them for what kind of shop, restaurant, café, club… etc. you are looking for and in which area and in what range of prices and KALLEMNE will simply give you answer all in few minutes and let’s not forget FOR FREE!!!

As for businesses that are sick of spending fortunes on advertising in newspapers and magazines and finding out the miss prints, and watching people just throw the new paper away after going through few pages without caring about you…. For businesses that know how annoying are the bulk messages that might be cheap for them to make an agreement with a telecom company to send for people randomly just to find out that most people delete the bulk message even before opening it as they clearly know it is bulk!!! KALLEMNE will target only the people you are searching for!!! KALLEMNE will provide you with all the advertising you need that’s on a hotline that will be operating to receive callers 24/7 from any place the caller is in Bahrain e.g. airport where they remembered they need to book a table in a restaurant for a business dinner that will take place in 1hour, on the side of a high way with a broken car, in the toilet when remembering the shower needs to be fixed or in a café with no internet connection and suddenly remembering they need to find a school for their child… etc.!!!

As a foreigner who arrived to Bahrain recently… I would have loved to have KALLEMNE as soon as walking out of the plane. I could have found out straight as soon as I have called them if any tables available in Don Vito (my favorite café) and about the time they closed… KALLEMNE would have helped me on the spot and I would have got my favorite table reserved for me that night!!! But sadly KALLEMNE will be launching on November the 1st, so I guess the people coming to Bahrain after that will have that great service available for them…. So if you are planning to visit Bahrain after 1st of November of 2010 just write down KALLEMNE’s free hotline to be able to ask about anything at any time while you are in Bahrain!

Force India with Adrian Sutil & Giancarlo Fisichella

McLaren with Lewis Hamilton & Heikki Kovalainen

One new team… Force India…with a Ferrari engine… let’s see what it does! 🙂

Three drivers might need introduction…

The Brazilian Nelsinho Piquet or as some call him Nelson Piquet Junior. He is the son of the great former F1 driver Nelson Piquet! Now he will be driving next to Alonso in Renault… All I’m hoping for is for him to be better than Alonso so I could see Alonso angry and upset again! 😛 I know it’s kind of evil but I can’t help disliking Alonso! 😛 any way I do hope he would do a great job and give even a better name to his dad’s! 😀

Timo Glock the German driver! He drove 2 races for Jordan-Ford in 2004… he got out with his first ever 2 points on F1 racing, but didn’t continue the year after till now… hopefully he got better training and is here to give us a good race!

French guy Sebastien Bourdais is the last one… he is totally new for me… I read some stuff about him and did find out he has been driving for Formula 3000, F3, Champ Car World Series, Grand Prix of Endurance, and few more… Seems as good driver… Hope he just adds action to the race! 🙂
